Auto Glass Costs/Insurance
Insurance FAQs:
Will my insurance cover my broken auto glass?
If you have comprehensive coverage you likely only be responsible for your deductible.
Will checking my deductible or inquiring about auto glass claims raise my insurance rates?
Asking your insurance provider about your policy coverage and deductibles is typically not considered a formal claim. However, to be completely certain, refer to your insurance policy.
What if I only have liability coverage?
Liability insurance only provides coverage for damages to other vehicles. That said, auto glass services will likely not be covered under a liability policy. In this case, San Diego Auto Glass will accept other payment options including cash, check, and card.
Will all insurance companies waive my deductible if my windshield is repaired instead of a full replacement?
Many insurance companies will cover windshield repairs 100% with no deductible. Contact your agent and/or insurance provider or refer to your insurance policy to confirm your specific coverage.
What if my deductible is the same or more than the auto glass service cost?
You can pay for the work out of pocket! We offer multiple payment options including cash, checks, and car.
